Awareness Training for Special Education Teaching Department Students

Under the moderation of our Assistant Coordinator Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Aynur TEPE, our University's Faculty of Education Social Studies Teaching Department 4th-year student Hatice DOĞACI, who has a visual impairment, shared her life experiences with the students of the Faculty of Education Special Education Teaching Department to draw attention to the problems of individuals with special needs and to create social awareness to understand them better.

Our student Doğacı conducted an informative session on the methods of using canes for individuals with visual impairments, how to assist individuals with visual impairments, the points to consider when responding to their requests for help, and the methods and tools used in their education.
